A project so near to the heart of our Founder and Lead Director, Madam Habiba C N Mohamed, is the education and mentorship program.Girl’s education and overall wellbeing is a strategic priority for Women And Development Against Distress In Africa(WADADIA) and a central way of giving back to the community.

The beauty of the project goes beyond just getting them into schools. We are about ensuring they learn, are safe both in and out of school, up their chances to complete all levels of education.Under our mentorship programs, they are assigned mentors whom they work together to ensure they gain socio-emotional and life skills to navigate and adopt in the society, job market and are empowered to be able to give back to the community too!Today, Nazlin Wendi, a beneficiary of the Habiballahi Director’s scholarship award fund expressed her deep gratitude for the unwavering support for the last six years she receives from our Founder and Lead, her mentor and the entire team.Nazlin’s whose background is humble, is a second year student at Maseno University, the bright girl is determined through education to shift the narrative of her family.
