Habiba Mohamed is the face behind Women and Development Against Distress in Africa (WADADIA) as a Founder & Lead director. Ms. Mohamed has a higher diploma Social Work and Community Development, undergraduate and Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and is a PhD student of Counselling Psychology at Kenyatta University.

Mical Naliaka Barasa is the District AIDs and STIs control coordinator Mumias District and assistant sub-county medical officer of health Mumias West. She has a medical background which brings years of experience working with the ministry of health to the organization.

Nerea Auma is a registered and practicing nurse and holds a certificate in nursing, Kakamega medical training center. With her vast experience in counseling Nerea uses her time to counsel teenagers and women in her communities, as her contributions towards eradicating HIV while empowering them.

Dr. Paula Tavrow, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor in the Community Health Sciences Department at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Formerly, she was the Director of UCLA’s Bixby Program in Population and Reproductive Health, and the founding Co-Director of the Center of Expertise in Women’s Health and Empowerment at the University of California Global Health Institute.

During her career, she had build a reputation for operational excellence, innovate strategic thinking while working with the highest level of integrity and a deep and passionate for charity work.

Ruth Okonji is a trained Administrator with extensive experience in operations management, organizational support, and service delivery. She is currently advancing her career by pursuing studies in Finance, equipping her with broader expertise in financial management and strategic decision-making.
