About Us

WADADIA based in western region of Kenya, is a non-profit organization founded to empower and support vulnerable and marginalized women in Kenya. With roots as a self-help group, our organization has evolved into a CBO (Community Based Organization ; 2009) and eventually into an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization ; 2014). Today, we cover 12 counties in Kenya including Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, Transnzoia, West Pokot, Baringo, Kilifi, Elgeyo Marakwet, Vihiga, Bomet, Nandi, and Siaya.

Our Goal

At WADADIA, our goal is to empower vulnerable and marginalized women in Kenya through psychosocial support, economic empowerment, and reproductive health services. We believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential and live a happy, healthy life.

Our Pillars

Our organization is built on three pillars of support: psychosocial support, economic empowerment, and reproductive health. Our team is dedicated to helping women overcome challenges and reach their full potential through a range of activities and services.

Psychosocial Support

At WADADIA, we understand the importance of emotional and psychological support for women who have faced difficult circumstances. That's why we offer structured therapy to clients, their families, and the host families. Our team also helps to establish support groups for survivors and their families, and works to involve the wider community through host families and advocacy efforts.

Economic Empowerment

Economic stability is key to a bright future, and we're committed to helping women reach their full economic potential. We offer skills development programs, income-generating activities, education and literacy classes, and linkages to microfinance institutions. Our team also provides entrepreneurship skills training to help women start and grow their own businesses.

Reproductive Health

We believe that access to quality reproductive health information and services is a fundamental right. Our team works to educate women about HIV & AIDS, obstetric fistula, cervical cancer screening and referral, and family planning and sexual and reproductive health information and services. we also provides a range of reproductive health services, including access to family planning and maternal health care,
