Dear friends and supporters,

This month, we shine light on our reintegration program and under the tell your story segment, we focus on Celi Chemkoite, an obstetric fistula survivor.

Thanks to our longtime supporter and partner Fistula Foundation Celi’s health has been fully restored and her life is back on track.
The 38-year-old and mother of one spent 10 years searching for something that could relieve her incontinence. In her prime, she suffered from the shame and stigma of the constant leaking, her husband left, and she returned back to her parents heartbroken.

Eventually, early last year, her aunt who had heard about the work we do through a health workshop linked her to Women And Development Against Distress In Africa(WADADIA) field officer in our Kapenguria, West-Pokot office.

She joined the rehabilitation and reintegration program and is set to complete a six-month tailoring course next month.
Just last week, Celi completed a beautifully tailored suit for her only child and looks forward to putting her skills to use and earning an income when she heads back home.

Our reintegration program remains focused on one mission: empowering fistula survivors, you can help us support more women access these vital services, to donate and support our work, visit; https://cpmove-wadadian2.local/get-involved/
