Dear Partner and Friends,

We write and share some amazing report about one of the twenty young girls and women in our rehabilitation and reintegration program and specifically our vocational skills center, who has had her life positively changed thanks to your generosity and kindness.

Meet Dorcas:

A traumatic labor during the birth of her youngest in 2017, left 20 year-old Dorcas Lumiri a mother of two with a devastating child birth injury.

Our field officer in West Pokot helped end her misery when he arranged for travel to Gynocare women’s hospital in August last year. Today, Dorcas is completely dry, joined our reintegration program and is once again envisioning a better future for herself and her young family.

Women And Development Against Distress In Africa(WADADIA) comprehensive fistula Program focuses on prevention, identification, treatment and reintegration.
