A Fistula Affair!
Day two.
Delighted to take part in a four day conference organized by the Fistula Foundation and the Ministry of Health roll out of the community health volunteers curriculum on female genital fistula.
We had an engaging, fun, wonderful and thought provoking moments facilitated by Mr. Mwamuye Chimwaga at kick off of the 4 day conference that’s geared towards shaping the future of health care for women and girls suffering from the devastating yet preventable and treatable child birth and ultimately the elimination of obstetric fistula by 2030
The session saw partners and members from the ministry of health trained on fistula prevention, identification and referral.
It was great to have stakeholders sharing knowledge and experiences drawn straight from their line of work
