we reaffirm our commitment to raise awareness on HIV and join the global community in marking #WorldAIDSDay themed end inequalities, end AIDs, end pandemics.
At Women And Development Against Distress In Africa(WADADIA) we take a moment and reflect on how far we’ve come, take stock of the progress over the past 40 years.and it’s also a perfect time for us to pause long enough to shine light and express our heartfelt gratitude to all those working to combat it’s spread.

One such group, is our male involvement team, over the years, their tremendous efforts to raise awareness and tackling HIV stigma while working to prevent new infections has registered significant progress.
We are so thankful as they continue to stand up, speak up and make a difference in community.
The team held a powerful and engaging procession from our offices to Mumias and Ekero, where residents received face masks, sanitizers and condoms.

We took the chance to raise awareness not only about HIV, but also on #COVID19 and encouraged the public to get vaccinated.
We had the opportunity to also raise awareness in clubs and bars around the area and had candid conversations with female sex workers, a huge thank you to our peer educators for making such engagements possible.
Let’s continue to create awareness on HIV. The fight to #EndAIDS continues.
