Today we celebrate a huge milestone, only you made possible.

Huge accomplishment; today is really an emotional and academic milestone for three Obstetric fistula survivors, Irene, Vivian and Florence as it marks the successful completion of a computer course in our Mumias rehabilitation and reintegration center and the start of an internship program.

Sharing during the brief session, 19 year old Florence Chemkorit say.

” It’s really symbolic for me, I have changed, matured and I am empowered. I have made it despite having everything hold me back. Back in the fistula award I was super scared of what the future held, today, I can’t wait to get back home to my child and family. I pray and hope that my internship will be as smooth as the training has been”.

There’s definitely a lot of gratitude and we celebrate the far they have come and their every wins.
