24 year old Sharon Malala checks in at Gynocare women’s Fistula hospital ahead of a booked surgery.
Sharon’s journey with Fistula started in 2020 after a prolonged obstructed labor that devastatingly resulted in a stillbirth.
It’s been a rough three years for the mother of three both emotionally and socially. Her husband’s detachment continues to cut deep.
Thanks to our program Corp Mary illamwenya, her hope is renewed. Her travel costs and surgery is fully funded by the charity Fistula Foundation .
