Happy #wednesday we come bearing good news, introducing a new entrant to our Habiballahi Director’s Education and Mentorship fund, a fund founded and run by our Founder and Lead Director Ms. Habiba C N Mohamed driven by her passion to impact lives.
Meet the Fatuma Gonna, the intelligent and brave 16 year old from Samburu is no stranger to misfortune, having been dealt the hand of death twice times, leaving her an orphan. Due to her disadvantaged background, Fatuma faced a number of challenges and was this 🤏 to dropping out of school.
This fund is a game changer for Fatuma as it provides all that a student needs to succeed in school.
She joins Bahari girls high school, a national school, her mentor and Women And Development Against Distress In Africa(WADADIA) program officer Seline Selly will be keeping a close eye, helping her navigate both school and home life with the one goal, of helping her excel.
Our various education and mentorship programs are well tailored and saves many girls from dropping out of school because of poverty.
