How about some fabulous news to kick-start the week! We are certified, fam, and this is what it means:

The NGOsource Equivalency Determination (ED) completed their analysis and was able to certify Women And Development Against Distress In Africa(WADADIA) as equivalent to a Certified Public Charity.

NGOsource’s Equivalency Determination (ED) on File “badge” means that WADADIA has been determined by NGOsource to be equivalent to a U.S. public charity or government instrumentality for a specific funder during a specific period of time. The U.S. grantmaker evaluates whether an intended foreign grantee is the equivalent of a U.S. public charity. The grantmaker collects a set of detailed information about the grantee’s operations and finances and makes a reasonable determination of its equivalency.
