WADADIA Joins Key Partners to Mark International Day to End Obstetric Fistula — May 23, 2025

Today, WADADIA proudly stands with a united front of stakeholders working to eliminate obstetric fistula — a debilitating condition that robs women of dignity and health.

As we mark International Day to End Obstetric Fistula (IDEOF), we’re honored to collaborate with:

Ministry of Health (MOH-Kenya)

UNFPA Kenya

Amref Health Africa

Jhpiego

Beyond Zero

MPESA Foundation

Royal Media Services

Fistula Foundation

Save a Woman Foundation

From May 17–23, hundreds of women are being screened and offered free surgical repair at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital and other key facilities — a huge step toward a fistula-free Kenya.

Our WADADIA team is fully engaged:

Joshua (Habibat Theatre Nurse) is working side by side with surgeons during these life-changing procedures.

Edwin Ogoma & Florence Wanyonyi, our dedicated psychosocial support team, are walking with every woman emotionally and spiritually — from screening through surgery and recovery.

This collaboration is a beacon of hope for affected women and a strong message that no woman should suffer in silence. Together, we are restoring more than health — we’re restoring futures.
