WADADIA Founder Joins African Experts for Fistula Foundation Community Outreach Webinar.

WADADIA Founder and Lead Director Habiba Mohamed is today participating as a featured speaker in the Community Outreach Webinar: HER Dignity – WADADIA’s Holistic Approach to Fistula Care, organized by WADADIA’s partner, Fistula Foundation.

The webinar convenes experts and practitioners from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Angola, creating an important platform for sharing experiences, innovations, and community-led approaches that are improving access to fistula care and restoring dignity to women and girls across Africa.

During the session, Habiba is highlighting WADADIA’s integrated model of care, which recognizes that ending obstetric fistula requires more than access to surgery alone. Through strong community partnerships, psychosocial support, awareness creation, survivor reintegration, and health systems strengthening, WADADIA works to ensure that women receive comprehensive care before, during, and after treatment.

With over two decades of experience supporting women affected by fistula and other childbirth-related injuries, Habiba continues to champion approaches that place communities and survivors at the center of programming while strengthening local systems for sustainable impact.

The webinar also reflects the growing importance of South-to-South learning, where organizations across the continent are exchanging practical knowledge and strengthening collaboration to accelerate progress toward ending preventable childbirth injuries.

WADADIA is honored to contribute to this regional dialogue and extends its appreciation to Fistula Foundation for convening partners and creating opportunities to advance shared learning and collective action.

Together, we continue working toward a future where no woman suffers in silence and every woman has access to the care, support, and dignity she deserves.
