Routine Surgical Care, Restoring Health and Dignity.
At Wadadia Habibat Mother and Child Holistic Health and Training Hospital, we believe surgical care should not be limited to emergency interventions or short-term campaigns.
For women living with painful, debilitating or socially isolating conditions, timely surgical treatment can be the beginning of a profound change in their quality of life.
Our hospital provides ongoing surgical care for women experiencing a range of conditions, including obstetric fistula and other childbirth-related injuries, fibroids, ovarian cysts and uterine prolapse.

Conditions That Are Often Lived With in Silence
Many of the women who come to us have lived with their conditions for months or years.
For some, the challenge is physical pain or discomfort. For others, it may be heavy bleeding, incontinence, difficulty walking, reproductive challenges or other limitations that interfere with everyday life.
The burden can also be emotional and social. Stigma, fear, misinformation, financial constraints and limited access to specialised care can prevent women from seeking treatment early.
By the time they reach our hospital, many have spent years adapting their lives around a condition that could have been treated.
Our role is to change that.
Clinical Care with Compassion
Our resident surgeon, Dr. Sudi Mohamed, provides surgical care with a strong emphasis on patient communication and dignity.
Before treatment, women have an opportunity to understand their condition, discuss their procedure and ask questions. Throughout their care, they are treated as individuals not simply as surgical cases.
This combination of clinical expertise and compassionate engagement helps create an environment where patients can feel informed, respected and safe.
Healing Beyond the Operating Theatre
We recognise that successful treatment is not measured by surgery alone.
Women who have lived with neglected or stigmatising conditions may also carry fear, shame, isolation and emotional distress. For this reason, our model incorporates psychosocial support alongside clinical treatment.
Patients may receive:
- One-on-one psychosocial counselling
- Pre- and post-operative support
- Follow-up care during recovery
- Guidance as they prepare to return to their families and communities
Where appropriate, our founder also creates space to engage personally with patients, listen to their experiences and encourage them throughout their recovery.
The objective is simple: to support the whole woman not only the condition being treated.
A Commitment to Routine Care
Our surgical programme is not built around a single campaign.
Women continue to need treatment throughout the year. For that reason, we are committed to maintaining a consistent pathway through which women can access assessment, surgical treatment, recovery support and psychosocial care.
This continuity matters.
It means a woman does not have to wait for a special campaign before she can receive care. It means our clinical team can respond to an ongoing need. And it allows us to build a model of care that considers both immediate treatment and longer-term wellbeing.
Restoring More Than Physical Health
For a woman who has spent years living with pain, incontinence, bleeding, discomfort or social isolation, treatment can represent far more than a medical procedure.
It can mean sleeping comfortably again.
Returning to work.
Participating more fully in family life.
Rebuilding confidence.
And, importantly, knowing that she is worthy of care and dignity.
At Wadadia Habibat Mother and Child Holistic Health and Training Hospital, we remain committed to providing women with compassionate, quality surgical care while recognising that true recovery encompasses the physical, emotional and social dimensions of health.
One procedure may address a condition. Holistic care helps a woman rebuild her life.
