My story, my voice and my choices.
” I am thankful to WADADIA for helping me find myself again”. Benita, a mother of four.
38-year-old Benita is a survivor of domestic violence and is single-handedly raising her four babies.
For over a decade, she endured constant and brutal beatings and her husband’s severe alcoholism.
” He would physically abuse me a lot, I would run and take refuge with family and friends, he would come plead for my forgiveness and I would go back. This was a routine. The day he beat me senseless to the extent I broke two teeth, that was the turning point for me, I reported the matter to my local leader, a woman, who linked me to WADADIA. Since then I have dedicated my time to self improvement”.
