Free Fistula Camp: Bringing Treatment and Psychosocial Support Closer to Women.

WADADIA is partnering with Flying Doctors Society of Africa and other health partners for a free fistula camp in Kilifi County from 28 September to 9 October 2026.

Obstetric fistula is a preventable childbirth injury, commonly associated with prolonged or obstructed labour without timely access to quality obstetric care. It can leave women with continuous leakage of urine or stool and may contribute to stigma, isolation and emotional distress.

As part of the partnership, WADADIA will provide psychosocial support to women participating in the camp, reinforcing an approach to fistula care that recognises both the physical and emotional dimensions of recovery.
