A Restoring Dreams Triumph: Fatuma Martini Graduates from the University of Nairobi

Today, WADADIA celebrates a profound milestone under our Restoring Dreams pillar. Fatuma Martini, a survivor who joined our program seeking safety, healing, and a second chance at education, has graduated from the University of Nairobi.

Fatuma’s journey has been one of extraordinary resilience. She overcame trauma, stigma, and financial hardship yet remained determined to continue with her education. Through the Habiballahi Director’s Scholarship Fund, dedicated mentorship, and continuous psychosocial support, Fatuma rebuilt her confidence and pursued her academic aspirations with courage.

Our Founder and Lead Director, who has personally accompanied Fatuma throughout her healing and academic journey, proudly graced her graduation ceremony today. This moment symbolizes everything WADADIA stands for: dignity, restoration, empowerment, and the belief that every girl deserves the chance to rewrite her story.

Fatuma’s achievement is not only her victory it is a victory for every girl who has ever been told her dreams are impossible.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to all partners and supporters who make such transformations possible. Together, we continue shaping a future where every girl can rise, thrive, and lead.
