From Awareness to Action: WADADIA-Habibat Supports Free Cancer Screening in Malindi.
Awareness matters but access to screening turns awareness into action.
Over the weekend, the WADADIA-Habibat Mother and Child Holistic Health and Training Hospital joined partners in Malindi for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, supporting free breast and cervical cancer screening for community members.
The event brought together health and community partners committed to strengthening prevention and early detection, including the Ministry of Health, Kilifi County Department of Health Services, Malindi Hands of Hope, Kenya Red Cross, The Aga Khan Hospital, Beyond Zero and WADADIA-Habibat, among others.

The event was graced by H.E. Flora Mbetsa Chibule, Deputy Governor of Kilifi County, who encouraged women to embrace timely screening and diagnosis.
WADADIA-Habibat: Bringing clinical care closer
For WADADIA-Habibat, participation was more than showing up for an awareness event.
Our clinical team provided screening services, contributing to a community-based approach that makes it easier for women to take an important first step in protecting their health.
Breast and cervical cancer can have serious consequences, but early detection can create an opportunity for timely assessment, referral and treatment.
That is why community screening matters.
Our message to women is simple: don’t wait until something feels wrong. Know your health. Get screened. Seek care early.
👉 Share this message with a woman in your family, workplace or community and encourage her to get screened.
