January in Kenya is often a season of stress. Many parents struggle to purchase educational materials, pay school fees, and secure safe accommodation for their children. For single mothers, the burden is even heavier, juggling survival, mental pressure, and the cost of educating bright daughters with limited means.

But this is no longer the reality for Nazlin’s mother.

Through WADADIA’s Restoring Dreams Education & Mentorship Program, her daughter Nazlin has been continuously supported since secondary school under the Habibalahi Directors Education and Mentorship Scholarship Award founded and run by our Founder and Lead Director, Ms. Habiba Mohamed.

Today, Nazlin is a 4th-year student at Maseno University, set to graduate this year, carrying not just academic excellence, but a transformed identity, one shaped by psychosocial mentorship, dignity restoration, and a deep desire to give back.

During a recent visit to our offices, she shared heartfelt words for Madam Mohamed:

“May the Lord bless you abundantly for taking that school tuition, upkeep and accommodation stress from my single mother. I hope to one day give back to the community just like you do.”
