That’s why, in partnership with like-minded organizations, our dedicated Psychosocial Support Team remains on the ground at Kisii Gnocare Women’s Hospital, walking alongside women on their journey to full recovery.

while surgery may mend the body, healing the heart and mind takes time, empathy, and presence.

Edwin Ogoma our psychosocial support officer continues to sit down with women, one conversation at a time, creating safe, supportive spaces for them to share their pain, find strength, and rediscover hope. These therapy sessions are moments of deep human connection, resilience, and healing.

He also reaches out to their families, helping them understand what their loved ones are going through and how to be part of the healing process. Because a supportive home is just as important as quality medical care.
