🌿 WADADIA at the Fistula Foundation Treatment Network Partner Review Meeting – Vihiga County.

WADADIA was honoured to participate in the just-concluded Fistula Foundation Treatment Network Partner Review Meeting in Vihiga County an important gathering focused on strengthening fistula prevention, treatment, and coordinated support for women across Kenya.

In her closing reflections, Dr. Esther Njoroge underscored the heart of our collective mission, reminding partners that:
“The work you are doing the seeds you are plantingis shaping a future where conditions like obstetric fistula become exceedingly rare.”
Her message reinforced the critical role frontline teams play in ensuring that information, compassionate care, and lifesaving services reach women who need them most.

We also appreciated the practical guidance shared by Nelson Musa, particularly on enhancing client identification, improving data quality, and ensuring more efficient coordination within the treatment network.

🤝 Key points from the meeting included:

  • Strengthening community outreach and client identification
  • Improving accuracy and consistency in data and reporting
  • Enhancing coordination across treatment and referral facilities
  • Ensuring timely, dignified care for every woman affected by fistula

The meeting reaffirmed a central truth: partnership drives impact. When organizations work together, we create stronger systems, close service gaps, and transform the lives of women living with childbirth-related injuries.

WADADIA remains committed to ongoing collaboration with the Fistula Foundation and all partners working to restore dignity and hope to women across Kenya.

💛 Partnership. Quality. Dignity.
