🌍 Taking Health to the Last Mile

Our Founder & Lead Director, Madam Habiba C N Mohamed, accompanied by our visiting partners from ARENA – Association Renaissance / Burkina Faso, joined us yesterday as we held a health outreach in partnership with our sister health facility WADADIA-Habibat Mother and Child Holistic Health And Training Hospital in Kisiki Phase One, one of the most interior parts of Malindi Subcounty.

Together, we reached women, men, and children with both education and essential health services. The outreach combined psycho-education sessions on reproductive health, childbirth, and pelvic floor injuries with life-saving screenings for high blood pressure, diabetes, malaria, and deworming.

In a touching moment, Madam Habiba spent time with children from the community, sharing snacks and laughter, a reminder that health and dignity go hand in hand with love and humanity.

At Women And Development Against Distress In Africa(WADADIA), the health and wellbeing of women and children remain at the center of everything we do. Working hand in hand with the Ministry of Health, religious leaders, and local administration, we continue to ensure that vital services reach even the most remote communities, the very last mile.

Because every woman and child, no matter where they live, deserves dignity, care, and hope.
